Seedbeds Australia is part of the global Seedbeds movement founded and led by Rev Dr Ash Barker. For over 30 years Ash has lived intentionally on the front line of urban poverty and seen the unique potential of people and places released around the world. Since 2014, the Barkers have been planted in inner city Birmingham, UK and have been building a team with a vision to grow the capacities of local leaders and their communities wherever they live, including internationally in Ukraine, Myanmar, and now Australia.

The next chapter of this dream began with a public launch of Seedbeds in July 2021.
